Byron Schneider is a poet, editor, and author of the new memoir, Reflections from the Shadow of Los Angeles.  He earned his degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and received the Henry Austin Award for literary merit from St. John's College (Annapolis/Santa Fe).  He has worked as an editor for Westview Press, UCSF, Jossey-Bass Publishers, and John Wiley & Sons. 

 

Byron and his wife make their home in the San Francisco Bay Area.
